CEO Roundtable
The iBIO
CEO Roundtable is an invite only, free, networking event for entrepreneurs. It
is a forum for the community to exchange ideas, compare business strategies and
share best practices. We select participants with diverse areas of expertise to
encourage comingling of experiences.
Happy Hour
The iBIO Happy Hour is a fun community event to
network and learn more about iBIO and the sponsoring organization or event.
John W Maitland Jr Biotechnology Leadership Award Ceremony

The John W
Maitland Jr Biotechnology Leadership Award is given annually to elected or
appointed government officials who have provided outstanding support to the
Illinois biotechnology community.

iBIO Summer Barbecue
Series

For three Fridays in the summer, iBIO hosts
cookouts at local tech parks to encourage community networking and promote
participation in the
iBIO Purchasing Program.
The iBIO Summer Barbecue Series
provides an opportunity for our community to come together, network and enjoy
some of the splendors of summer. Several of the
iBIO Purchasing Program vendors
are available to answer questions on how the program can save members money.
Ag-Bio Industrial Summit
Home to international companies like Archer Daniels Midland Company, Elevance, Tate & Lyle and Valent Biosciences, exciting startups, and world-class
research institutions, Illinois is a leader in the bio-industrial industry. The
Ag-Bio Industrial Summit is a forum for the community to gather annually, to
learn about the current industry, outline hurdles and challenges and identify
opportunities for growth.
Biotechnology Field Trip
Next summer, iBIO will offer a series of
field trips to member facilities for Illinois elected and appointed officials.
Each field trip will include facility tours followed by a short discussion of key
industry issues. This event is not open to the general public. Contact Monique
