Successful strategic alliances between emerging biotech companies and larger biotech and pharmaceutical businesses are symbiotic relationships. For the most part, emerging biotech companies seek help in supporting the significant cost and resource requirements of developing, getting regulatory approval for and distributing a new product. Meanwhile, large biotech and pharmaceutical companies seek to partner with developers of novel products to create value and grow their businesses.
This seminar will feature three panelists with extensive experience in strategic alliances and joint ventures in the life sciences industry.
Robert Altman, President, Marathon Pharmaceuticals
Andrew Hull, VP Global Alliance Management, Takeda Pharmaceuticals North America
Matthew Hudes, National Managing Principal, Biotechnology, Life Sciences & Health Care, Deloitte Consulting LLP
They will discuss some of their experiences with strategic alliances, including how to prepare and manage this type of relationship and how companies can successfully use alliances to further their strategic objectives. Steven Ducommun, a partner in the life sciences practice group of Bell Boyd, will moderate.
