Tech Transfer is not just "Tech Transfer" anymore. A gap exists between the technology our Universities are producing and what our companies and entrepreneurs need. This program will explore what 3 of the large Illinois research Universities are doing to improve the competitive landscape and foster innovation. As this is a problem that impacts our community as a whole, this breakfast will be an interactive program, the audience will be asked to actively participate in the panel’s discussion.
Moderator:
William Moffitt, President & CEO, Nanosphere, Inc.
Speakers:
Nancy Sullivan, Director - Office of Technology Management, University of Illinois
Alan Thomas, Director - Office of Technology & Intellectual Property, The University of Chicago
Alicia Loffler, Executive Director and Associate Vice President for Commercialization, Northwestern University
