Cotter Consulting Announces New Healthcare Vice President

CHICAGO, Ill. – January 20, 2010 – Cotter Consulting, Inc. announces the addition of iBIO member Carol Chiles, AIA, LEED AP to the Cotter team as Vice President of Healthcare and Life Sciences.
Cotter welcomes Ms. Chiles as she leads the firm’s growing health care industries group. Chiles brings nearly 30 years of architectural, commercial real estate development and pharmaceutical industry experience to Cotter’s 20 years of project management excellence.
With her diverse understanding of the business and technical imperatives which drive facilities and real estate needs, Chiles will expand Cotter’s project planning services along with building the healthcare and life sciences group.
Ms. Chiles joined Cotter from Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research where she served as Head of Space Planning and Real Estate overseeing strategic master planning for a million square-foot campus. She also served as Forest City’s Director of Design and Planning overseeing the redevelopment of the 23-acre Illinois Science + Technology Park in Skokie and was a principal/Vice President with the architectural firm of Tsoi/Kobus & Associates in Cambridge, MA.
